Duke von Urach is a handsome 18-month-old German Shepherd.  He has a strong, solid build and a straight back which are traits of the German imports. Don’t let this guy’s strong, fearless appearance fool you though. Duke is really just a big, cuddly hunk.  Throughout the entire time volunteers were taking his photos, he just wanted to lay down and roll over for some belly rubs.  Duke is a dream to walk.  He is attentive and walks close to his person when he is on leash.  He knows his basic commands and is housebroken.  During an adoption event where there was a lot of commotion and excited dogs, Duke remained calm and at ease.  Duke did very well on his first cat test.  He introduced himself by kissing the cats then he just walked away.  Duke is a gentle guy that has a lot of love to give. He would be a wonderful and loyal family member.
